Moving..

One year later because of my dads job I had to move. I met many new people and became very close with all of them. The hardest part was finding the right doctor for me. We looked for a long time and found the perfect one. On my first check up I was very excited to go but a bit nervous at the same time. I went to get X-rays as usual and met the doctor which he was very nice. But then he had bad news my degree had gone up it was now at 35 degrees. He said I must of grown over the past year to make the Scoliosis increase. I was scared but nothing changed he said just to keep wearing my night brace and see were it all goes from there..

How it all started..

My name is Devon Napper and I am 13 years old. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis 3 years ago at the age of 10. I was going in for my yearly check up and that day just felt weird to me. We did everything as usual but then at the end she asked me and my brother to bend over... That was then the beginning of my Scoliosis Journey. A couple months later I went to see a Pediatric Orthopedic to see the degree of my Scoliosis.  I did a bunch of X-rays and then was sent back to room to wait for the doctor, when he arrived he said my degree was at 28 degrees which means I am in the range to wear a night brace. I was very upset about this but thankful at the time it wasn't worse than 28 degrees.
